Our serve teams are comprised of people who, for the sake of others, volunteer their time to make Southlands a place where people can feel at home, encounter Jesus, and participate in community. Joining a Serve Team is also a great way to build relationships, and grow in your faith.
Kids
Southlands Kids Ministry makes it a point to love on each child that walks through the doors. The qualified volunteers serve through the lens of the gospel. [All Southlands Kids volunteers must complete a background check.]
Band
Whether singing or playing an instrument, this team has a passion and skill to serve and lead others through music as worship to God.
Hospitality
Serving on hospitality is a great way to help people connect around good coffee and a warm smile. Our hospitality team sets up the Sunday morning refreshments and greets folks at the doors as they enter and leave the gatherings.
Ushers
Our Usher Team serves by greeting with a friendly smile and helping people find a seat. Ushers also help distribute elements of communion and make themselves available to help with anything that is needed in Sunday gatherings.
Sound & Media
Our sound & media team serves by helping folks engage both in audio and visuals on Sunday mornings. We're not exactly sure how they do it but these are the folks who work their magic by pushing all the right buttons.
Operations
The Operations team serves by helping unload and load up the storage trailer as well as set out signage. Operations also helps with setting out heavier sound gear for the band and A/V teams.
