What are the gatherings like?
We know that visiting a new church can be intimidating, but don't worry, we're normal people just like you. We're a church that wants to make much of Jesus everyday and everywhere. As a multi-generational church, there's a place for everyone.
Our Sunday gatherings begin at 10am and are 90 minutes long. When you enter, you’ll be greeted at the door by a friendly smile and some great coffee! Feel free to find a seat and simply relax or move around and meet new folks; either way, someone from our church will probably introduce themselves to you so you don't have to take that first awkward step.
We dress casually and encourage you to come as you are. You can expect live worship music, opportunity to partake in communion, announcements for how to get involved, prayer, and a message from a pastor. We NEVER make visitors stand or come to the front, but we do encourage folks to briefly greet one another during our service. As for money, giving is something for people who call Southlands "home." We will inform you of how you can give if you desire to.

Got Kids?
The opportunity to serve and protect your children is one of our highest priorities and privileges!
At Southlands, we want every moment with your child to be intentional in teaching them about Jesus, God’s Word, and His world. We have created a fun, positive and safe environment to help your child open their heart to receive the life-changing power of Jesus through age appropriate and Gospel-centered curriculum.
Our Sunday morning Kids ministry offers services from infant to 6th grade.
All classrooms are numerically staffed in line according to state safety mandates and every Kids volunteer is background checked.
We also have a Mom's Room attached to our main auditorium. Our Mom's Room is a quiet space made just for moms who need a place to feed or rock their infants. This room is set up with a changing table, plenty of seating, and a TV streaming the service so you won't have to miss anything.
